FAQS

PLANNING and BOOKING

  • HOW DO WE BOOK?

You can fill out the contact form on our website, send us an email, or even text or call us directly—we’re happy to chat! Once we understand your vision, we’ll walk you through the next steps and help you find the right package.

  • HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT? WHAT'S YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?

We ask for a $100 deposit to lock in your date and secure current pricing—even if our prices increase later. That deposit is fully refundable up to 30 days before your wedding. Half of your balance is due 30 days prior, and the final half is due one week before your ceremony. We keep things flexible and low-stress.

  • DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

We don’t have strict payment plans, but we’re happy to work with you if you’d like to split things up differently—just let us know what works best for you.

  • CAN WE CHOOSE OUR OWN BEACH? DO YOU HELP WITH THAT?

We’re here to help! Once we know where you’re staying and what kind of vibe you’re after—sunset views, private feel, easy access—we’ll recommend beach options with photos and pros/cons for each.

  • DO YOU WORK ON MORE THAN ONE ISLAND?

Yes! We’re based on both Maui and Oʻahu and plan weddings on either island. Let us know where you’ll be and we’ll guide you accordingly.

  • CAN WE BRING OUR OWN VENDORS?

Absolutely. If you have your own photographer, videographer, or stylist, we’ll just need their name and contact info so we can coordinate logistics. We also have trusted local vendors we’re happy to recommend.

  • DO YOU HELP WITH PERMITS?

Yes! All our packages include beach permits and liability insurance. We’ll handle the paperwork so you can focus on enjoying the day.

  • HOW DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS?

You’ll receive a private link with your edited digital photos within 4 weeks of your ceremony.

CEREMONY and CUSTOMIZATION

  • DO YOU PERFORM LEGAL WEDDINGS?

Yes! All of our officiants are licensed by the State of Hawaiʻi to officiate legal marriages. If you'd rather keep it symbolic (for spiritual, personal, or legal reasons), that’s totally fine too. We’ll tailor the ceremony to your needs.

  • CAN WE PERSONALIZE OUR CEREMONY?

Absolutely. We’ll walk you through your options—like adding your own vows, a cultural unity ceremony (like lei exchange, handfasting, or jumping the broom), or writing something special for your officiant to say. Everything is customizable.

  • DO YOU OFFER HAIR, MAKEUP, & OTHER UPGRADES?

Yes! We offer florals, live music, hair & makeup, dove release, custom keepsakes, and more. Let us know what you’re envisioning, and we’ll make it happen.

  • WHAT IF WE WANT TO ADD TO OR UPGRADE OUR PACKAGE LATER?

No problem. We’re flexible, and you can always add items—even closer to your date if available & time permits.

  • WHAT IF OUR GUEST COUNT GOES UP?

Public beach permits allow up to 30 people total (including you, guests, and vendors). If your guest list grows beyond that, we’ll help you explore private venues and be upfront about additional costs.

  • DO YOU OFFER VOW RENEWALS & ELOPMENTS?

Yes! Whether it’s just the two of you or a small group, we offer intimate elopements and meaningful vow renewals with the same care and aloha.

LOGISTICS and WEATHER

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Don’t worry—Many showers pass quickly, and we can adjust the time slightly or move to a nearby covered location if needed. We’ll stay in close contact and help guide you.

  • WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST FOR CEREMONIES?

We typically recommend early mornings (for cooler temps and fewer crowds) or sunset (for golden light and dreamy skies). Some beaches are better for certain times, and we’ll guide you based on your location and preferences.

  • IS A BEACH WEDDING ACCESSIBLE TO THOSE WITH MOBILITY CHALLENGES?

Some beaches are more accessible than others. Let us know if any of your guests may need easier access and we’ll suggest the best spots.

  • WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING TO THE CEREMONY?

Just yourselves and whatever you’d like to include—like rings, vows, or a broom for a unity tradition. We take care of the rest: florals, permits, music, setup, and photography.
