Getting your Hawaii marriage license is simple with just three easy steps:

STEP 1

Complete the online application at emrs.ehawaii.gov and save your code.

STEP 2

Schedule an appointment to meet a Hawai‘i agent within 30 days of your ceremony. Note: Maui Agents only open appointments 3 months out—book early, they fill quickly!

STEP 3

Attend your appointment with valid photo IDs to pick up your license, then have your ceremony within 30 days. The license is valid immediately and only in Hawaiʻi.
